Radlilcat Now and Next
Radlilcat is a one-woman show. I’m Anne Zoet and I write and illustrate and have a creative agency in the Silicon Valley. I have a passion for cats and have dedicated much free time in researching them in order to better the lives of my current and future cats. If you’ve found Radlilcat useful and you’re inspired to help, making a PayPal contribution would be tremendous! Helping out would help me get topics like this out there:
- cats and the environment are house and feral cats destroying wildlife?
- cats and technology is GPS technology feesible in a cat-sized collar
…as my research continues!
Infographics (and writing) take a lot of time. What really pushed me to get Radlilcat out there was seeing examples of horrible infographics proliferate on Pinterest and elsewhere. Here’s an example of what I had been seeing gain traction:
It is unconscionable to place grains on the list at all, much less first (note that meat is so much farther down than mangoes). It is as if they were putting wood chips at the top of your list of things that are good for you to consume as a human. Just as wood chips are undigestable and would do harm if it were prominent in your every day diet, so are grains to cats.
I need to do my part to present much more accurate data: we do not know everything we could possibly yet know about cats, but we know a lot more than what those two entities post. I want to keep doing my part, if you can help fund that, you have my undying gratitude.
Another way to help out is to buy a copy of my upcoming children’s picture book Purrball Meets Burrball in Brazil
Cat lovers (and animal lovers in general) will enjoy this tale of two unlikely friends. Please visit purrballandburrball.com for more information, free children’s activity books, and more!
By the way, donations to Radlilcat are not tax-deductible. I pay taxes on what you contribute. This is not a registered nonprofit: it’s just me, my research and my drawing and typing and no more!
